Concept

Overlooking the stunning Osaka skyline The Cosmopolitan awaits. Guests will dine in truly elegant surroundings while overlooking the lush green landscaped gardens.

Taking up the entire entrance wall guests will be totally mesmerized by “the cosmopolitan lady”, a large and hugely passionate painting by Masashi Ozawa. The dining room features a ten seat private dining room adjacent to the open kitchen and also a glass walk-in wine cellar, containing many bottles of carefully selected international wines.

The counter and communal seated bar features contempory brushed brass pipe ceiling lights over an island bar, here you will find many and varied cocktails including the signature “The Cosmopolitan’s Cosmopolitan” being shaken with style and vigor.

The Cosmo cuisine utilizes new and old world cooking techniques focusing on simple elegance with a twist, sourcing only the freshest seasonal market produce, desserts will be fit for the most discerning dessert critic.

During the warmer months guests may dine al fresco on the dining terrace or take the winding footpath through the landscaped gardens outside the main dining and bar hall to enjoy “The Beer Garden At The Cosmopolitan”

Designed by Yasumichi Morita and his team from Glamorous co.,ltd. in conjunction with ECN Consulting, and overlooking the stunning Osaka skyline, The Cosmopolitan offers seating for 146 guests. This includes a 60 seat dining area, 10 seat private room, 40 seat terrace, 36 bar stooled bar and an open kitchen. At The Cosmo guests will be able to dine in truly elegant surroundings while overlooking the lush green landscaped gardens. The modernist décor of the dining room is offset by its wood and leather furnishings and rich antique floor.

Whilst being greeted by reception, taking up the entire entrance wall, guests will be totally mesmerized by “the cosmopolitan lady”, a large and hugely passionate painting by Masashi Ozawa (masashiozawa.com). To the left of the reception is the bar featuring contemporary brushed brass pipe ceiling lights over the island bar with barmen underneath the lights shaking many and varied cocktails including the signature “The Cosmopolitan’s Cosmopolitan”.

During the warmer months guests may take the winding footpath through the landscaped gardens outside the main dining and bar hall to enjoy the beer garden at the cosmopolitan.

The music crossroads theory at Cosmo has several genres of music, Jazz through to Ambient, Electro & Bossa Nova, culminating in the fusion of DJ meets live.Classic Jazz of the 1920s through to the1950s will enhance your weekday lunch & weekend brunch.Bossa Nova will be a great match for your favorite cocktail at sunset and Modern Jazz will add spice to the Cosmo’s cuisine.
